Tashkent part one

This morning I had no plan beyond breakfast, the meeting for the people going on the next leg of the trip to Ashgabat, and buying some delicious peaches.

Tash and Andrew are leaving the trip and I ended up going about the city with them. We caught the Metro and the stations were beautiful, but we weren't allowed to take photos there because they used to be nuclear bunkers (or something). We went to see the markets and the men were a bit revolting and grabby, so we pretended that Andrew had two wives. (One of the men was surprised that such a long-haired bearded lout could have snagged two such attractive ladies).

The laughing ladies are the ones we bought peaches and pears from. They knew a little bit of English, we know hello and thank you.
