141. 27th September. Perfect temperature on a Spring evening in the System gardens. The air was the same temperature as my skin. It was blissful. And then the mosquitoes came. And then I discovered I'd sat there too long and they'd locked the gates for the night.

142. 28th September. And then I crashed my car. And then I saw a cow and a giraffe walking a black labrador.

Yerba mate icecream

134. 20th September. Wisteria - smells even better than it looks. One day I will have a verandah with this stuff growing along it.

135. 21st September. Yerba mate icecream on top, dulce du leche with choc chips icecream on the bottom. The yerba icecream tasted (unsurprisingly) like green tea icecream - neither of which thrill me. The dulce du leche iceream I could go back for every day.

 136. 22nd September. Spring.

129. 15th September. The day of 50 Elephants. With a sore foot I walked all over Melbourne to see all 50 of the Mali elephants. By the end of the day, both feet were registering their discontent.

 130. 16th September. Made it to the shops and back. I had to walk slowly. Carefully. My poor feet.

131. 17th September. I was going to take the name of this tree, but I forgot. It is in the court next to Old Arts and Uni.

132. 18th September. Chai and creme brulee at Chouquette on Sydney Road. Yum.

Married another woman and had children and then after his divorce found his true love on facebook and they have been together now for four years.

105. 22nd August. I have moved to North Melbourne to house sit for a while. I love North Melbourne. For example, tonight, I went out dancing and was home in under five minutes.






















 106. 23rd August. There is a 'new' cafe in North Melbourne Grigons and Orr (it is not actually new, but it is new since I last lived here). It is like they raided my browser history and came up with the perfect cafe for me. It is full of knitting, tea, stuff that belongs on Pinterest and delicious things to eat.

107. 24th August. I got to the Vic market just in time to get some kale as the last stalls were closing for the day.

108. 25th August. Kale. I love this stuff. I would eat it every day if I could. And at the moment, seeing as I have ready access to kale and no one to please but myself, I *am* eating it every day. Tonight I made kale chips.

108a. 25th August. Reason number 34 why I shouldn't live alone. Because when I think to myself "I wonder if I can cut my own hair?" There is nobody to say me, "No."

101. 18th August 2012. I invited several people from Melbourne for lunch on Saturday and it rained solidly all day until about 20 minutes after they left. I took a photo as proof.





















102. 19th August 2012. I almost forgot to take a photo on Sunday, so you get Dorothy the Dinosaur eating coriander. And Brad helping with our artistic endeavours.

103. 20th August 2012. I am really flagging on this whole photo taking business. I seem to be always in the same three places at the moment.

104. 21st August 2012. My housemate got one of those painless migraines where your vision goes all wonky. I had one once, mine came with smell hallucinations. Lasagne and wet paint. At any rate. I drove her to Kyneton to go to the optometrist and took the opportunity while we were there to get a shot of the Kyneton, um, statue.
